Horatio - An Appliqué Wall Hanging using a kaleidoscopic panel
Horatio
Who would have thought a kaleidoscope fabric could become the perfect rhinoceros?
Unexpected Fabrics. Delicious Results.
Horatio began with a printed kaleidoscopic fabric panel whose shapes reminded me of the texture and character of rhino skin. By carefully cutting the individual appliqué pieces, the fabric takes on a whole new life, creating a unique and eye-catching wall hanging.
The pattern includes full-size appliqué templates (pages will need to be sticky-taped together) and clear instructions to guide you through the construction. It's a wonderful opportunity to see fabrics in a completely different way and create an appliqué quilt that's full of personality.
Here is a pic of the panel that Horatio was lurking in!

This is a downloadable pattern.
The quilt measures approx. 50" x 52"
This is a fun applique pattern.
